The Big Debate Over Time Vehicles - 996 Words

Over time vehicles have become a huge cause of pollution and global warming. As years have passed by vehicles have been designed to be environmentally friendly. This is only happened for the vehicles that are everyday vehicles. Most of those vehicles are still not fully efficient due to the inability of affording a new car. Racing in the biggest thing that is in need of finding a way to limit it to release less pollution. The big debate over how these rules should not apply due to racing only lasting for maybe three to four hours. After that then the cars are shut off and are no longer running. It is believed by the drivers and their teams that this should not affect the environment at all. Since there is so many cars at once running and traveling at high speeds this does not help that view. Multiple cars at once will burn up to 20 pounds of carbon dioxide every gallon, and at the end of the race car has burned up to one hundred and twenty pounds of carbon dioxide. (Layton) Professional racing should be required to pass under certain laws and regulations. Most of the cars can be highly contaminant to the environment. Mostly everything that forces the car drive has to deal with pollution. The fuel that these cars burn is far much worse than the fuel we use in our vehicles. Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken Analysis The poem seems to make a reader think about the decisions they make in life and the cause-n-effect behind their decisions. Initially the poem seems to have a motivational tone to it, but after reading and thinking on it, it magnifies the fear most people have when it is time to make a decision; afraid of making the wrong decision and having to live with that decision. In the first stanza, Mr. Robert Frost’s poem, â€Å"The Road Not Taken†, tells the story of a man standing at a fork in a â€Å"yellow wood†(Frost 1). This would put the reader in the mind frame of autumn. Autumn could represent the man’s the age; meaning he is at the age when people start reminiscing on their life’s past. In the second stanza, the man seems ecstatic by â€Å"having perhaps the better claim† that he chose the path less traveled by â€Å"because it was grassy and wanted wear† (Frost 7-8). The NDP plans on involving the government as well as the labour sector to play a role, an expansion of the public works programme is going to help reduce unemployment because it will be offering work experiences and skills to those people who are unemployed. Minimizing the cost of doing business helps small companies to get into business and also employ people to work; the NDP also states that tax subsidy will be granted to businesses to minimize the cost of recruiting young people (NDP Summary 2011), this will result in job creation and hence unemployment is reduced.
